These courses aim to raise awareness of Equality & Diversity and encourage candidates to take a proactive approach within the workplace. Equality and Diversity can be compromised by candidates own values, opinions and prejudices. Learners will gain awareness of discriminatory practices and acquire knowledge on how to promote equal opportunities for all and recognise the value of diversity.

With each passing year our workplaces become increasingly culturally diverse. A knowledge of equality and diversity is becoming essential when dealing with both work colleagues as well as people we interact with throughout the day.

Employers can be held accountable for acts of discrimination that are committed by employees even when the employer does not approve or even know of the misdemeanour. Employers may have a defense if they can prove their employees have completed equality and diversity training.

Our equality and diversity e-learning course will raise awareness of Equality & Diversity and encourage candidates to take a proactive approach within the workplace. Our online Equality & Diversity course will explore how Equality and Diversity can be compromised by candidates own values, opinions and prejudices and learn how prejudices develop and how they may influence people. Learners will gain greater awareness of how to promote equal opportunities for all ande recognise the importance of diversity.

Who should take this course?

This course is relevant to individuals working in any industry, especially those working in the health and social care sector as this course plays a part of the mandatory training for all health and social care workers.


Assessment:

This course is assessed through multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) which you will need to score 80% to pass. You can repeat the knowledge tests as many times as you need or keep taking the knowledge test until you score 100% or are satisfied with the result.

Duration:

The course should take around 60 – 90 minutes to complete.

Certificate:

On completion of this e-learning course you will receive a digital certificate of completion which you can print yourself.

Equality and Diversity Face to Face Half Day Training

 

This course is for those who want to gain an understanding of how the values, opinions and prejudices of an individual can influence those around them, and how this can lead to discrimination. Participants will gain awareness of the value of equality and diversity and will be inspired to promote equal opportunities within their own place of work.

Train the Trainer in Equality and Diversity Two Days Training


This course is for those who want to train others in equality and diversity to gain the knowledge in how the values, opinions and prejudices of an individual can influence those around them, and how this can lead to discrimination.

Participants will gain an understanding of the value of equality and diversity and will be encouraged to promote equal opportunities in the workplace. Upon completion of the course, the organisation will benefit from having an equality and diversity trainer and advisor on site.
